On February 21st and February 22nd the kick-off was organised of the Nuffic-funded TMT project entitled “Supporting marginalised youth to become cocoa Agri-entrepreneurs: a new tailor made training at three Agro Education institutes.”

A Competence Based Training for teachers of the three Farm Institutes in Ghana

This training was obligatory by CTVET to enable accrediting newly developed competency based curricula under project 103458 and integrate these courses in the National Qualification Framework of Ghana.

Closing ceremony of project NICHE-GHA-270; strengthening the capacity of four colleges of agriculture

This four-year Nuffic project in Ghana focused on improving agricultural education for both men and women at the four colleges (Kwadaso, Ohawu, Ejura and Damongo). The aim of this project is to enable better education to strengthen the agricultural sector, and ultimately contribute to strengthening food security in Ghana.

On the 23 and 24th of February, CINOP organized a ‘gender sensitization’ and a ‘gender strategic planning’ workshop for the TVET National Bodies in Ghana (project OKP-GHA- 103827). Since NABPTEX has merged with COTVET in the new commission for TVET, there are now two bodies responsible for TVET in Ghana.

Nursing & Midwifery Council of Ghana visits the Netherlands to learn about digital examination

During a study visit to the Netherlands the Ghanaian Nursing & Midwifery council, who designs and administers the licensing examinations of all nurses and midwifes in Ghana, has gathered inspiration on how to further proceed their process of moving from paper based to digital examinations.

Ghanaian delegation visits CINOP to learn best practices for improved TVET in Ghana

Twelve public officials from Ghana have embarked on a week-long study visit to the Netherlands from the 4th-9th of December 2022. The team were representatives from the Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET), the TVET service and the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MOFA).
